1: The hour markers are slimmer
The dial design of the latest Daytona model has become more refined. In comparison to the previous generation, the hour markers on the earlier 116500LN are noticeably thicker, while on the new 126500LN, they are nearly halved in width, giving them a much thinner appearance!

2: The chronograph sub-dials have a more refined look
In the previous 116500LN model, the three chronograph circles were relatively bold, standing out with a strong presence. In contrast, the lines of the sub-dials on the new 126500LN are slimmer, creating a more elegant feel that complements the style of the numerals above.

3: Crown logo added at 6 o’clock
In recent years, Rolex has started including a crown logo at the 6 o’clock position on its new models, and the latest generation of the Daytona follows suit. This logo appears between the words “SWISS MADE” at 6 o’clock. While it’s a subtle change, it’s a distinguishing feature that sets apart the new generation of Rolex watches, complementing the dial design and providing a quick way to identify the updated models.

4: Ceramic bezel now features a metal ring
The ceramic bezel on the new generation Daytona appears more compact due to the addition of a metal ring around its edge. This metal trim not only offers added protection for the ceramic bezel but also complements the slimmer design of the three chronograph rings, creating a cohesive and refined look.

5: The case design has notable differences.
From the front, the cases of both Daytona generations appear similar, but when viewed from the side, the new generation Daytona shows a more pronounced curve in the lugs, giving them a thicker appearance. Additionally, the connection between the strap and lugs has been modified, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

6: Upgraded Movement
The new Daytona features the advanced 4131 automatic winding movement, now with added ball bearings for improved winding efficiency. Compared to the previous 4130 movement, this upgrade incorporates the Rolex 3235 Chronergy escapement system and Paraflex shock absorbers. Additionally, the bridge is finished with the refined new Geneva pattern, unlike the radial pattern on the older 4130 movement. Aside from these enhancements, the rest of the movement’s configuration remains similar to the 4130, making this update more of a refinement.
